Graduation from NTM Training

I want to send a big thankyou out to those of you who have prayed for me during my time here at the Language School. Also for those of you who have given financially toward my training costs. You have all been a big encouragement to me! My graduation ceremony is Saturday morning, May 20th. You're all invited!! (Haha, maybe it's too far for most of ya, since I'm in Missouri...that's okay...I still love ya!)

Many people have asked, "So what in the world is next Josh?" (more like, where in the world...haha) Here's a little bit about my tentative plans:

Right now it looks like I'll be spending some time in Boise before heading overseas. I've been gone for five years now! That makes it easy to get somewhat disconnected from people. While in Boise, I hope to plug into the ministry of my home church family and be a resource to them as we (Ustick Baptist Church) are seeking to expand the reach of the gospel all over Idaho, the US, and to the ends of the earth. NTM is a great tool for planting churches amongst unreached tribal groups. One of the things I will be doing while in Idaho is sharing with my church and other churches how NTM can assist them in their obedience to the Great Commission...to carry the Gospel of Christ to the ends of the earth. (see Matthew 28:18-20)

I will also be getting some practical experience in different areas that will equip me for living on my own when I head overseas. I will be working (probably construction) while at home and hope to acquire some more practical skills that will also be a help as I head overseas. I also hope to learn from individuals at my church and further grow and develop both spiritually and in practical areas of living.

As always, I appreciate your prayers as I seek the Lord each day. Here's some specifics:
-Pray for safety as I drive home to Idaho with my roommate (4 day trip) -Arrive May 25th
-Pray for a good job while in Boise (acquire some practical skill)
-Pray for more "laborers" (challenged hearts who will count the cost and go...see Luke 10:2)
Let's be looking to the Lord together in anticipation of what He will do in and through us! Keep on keepin' on my friends!
Thanks again so much!
In Christ,
Josh
