The students were given a tour of the ITF campus, which is neighbored by various tribal villages. The people group surrounding the INTERFACE campus comprise one of PNG's larger language groups. NTM has a good relationship with these people...many of whom function as language helpers for the ITF students during the program.

All of our 29 pieces of luggage were either inside this Land Cruiser or on top of it. It was good to see it being used for the intended purpose for which it was made (OFF paved roads & loaded down). Pretty scenery.

Once we landed in the highlands of PNG, it was an additional 45 minute ride up to the INTERFACE base (pretty bumpy). We rode in the back of this big truck (only half of us are pictured).

The luggage went in the Land Cruiser on the left and the Team went in the truck on the ride. What a ride! It was great...good bonding experience too.

Singapore River Cruise

While on our 9 hour layover in Singapore, we were able to go on a tour of the city which included a river cruise (on of these boats). Many of those tall buildings are banks.

Bathrooms of the World

While in Singapore, I encountered a new method of using the bathroom. It's called a Squatting Pan or more affectionately, "Squatty potty." Ever used one of those??
